Diagnostic Ultrasound: At-Home Medical Imaging

Professional at-home diagnostic ultrasound services in Nashville, throughout Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, combining the comfort of in-home imaging with the added security of Board Certified radiologist interpretation for your primary OB provider.

All diagnostic imaging is performed by a Registered Perinatal Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with images officially reviewed by a Board Certified radiologist and sent directly to your OB provider upon request.

Insurance: We are a self-pay service and do not bill or accept insurance. A paid receipt can be provided upon request for possible reimbursement.

Diagnostic Ultrasound Services Offered

We currently provide the following medical diagnostic ultrasound services:

  • ✔️ Cervical Length Measurement (when clinically indicated)

    • Amniotic fluid checks (AFI)
    • Fetal position
    • Placenta location
    • Presentation confirmation
    • Other medically indicated limited assessments

Required Radiologist Interpretation Fee

All diagnostic ultrasounds require a mandatory $80 diagnostic interpretation fee, which is already included in the pricing below.

This fee covers:

  • Board Certified radiologist image review
  • Official written radiology report
  • Secure delivery of findings to your primary OB provider
➕ Transvaginal Ultrasound Add-On

When clinically required, a transvaginal ultrasound may be performed for early pregnancy evaluation or accurate cervical length assessment.

Additional Transvaginal Ultrasound Fee: $38

This fee applies only when a transvaginal scan is medically necessary.

One-Time Diagnostic Ultrasound Session Pricing
First Trimester Diagnostic Ultrasound — $329 Total

6 weeks – 13 weeks 6 days
($249 session + $80 radiologist interpretation)

Includes:

  • 20–30-minute diagnostic ultrasound
  • Up to 90 minute round trip travel from Whites Creek, TN
  • Length measurement & heartbeat tracing
  • ALL digital images and videos provided to the patient — just like our elective exams
  • Earliest appointment available at 6 weeks gestation

➕ Transvaginal ultrasound (if required): +$38 added to total cost

Second Trimester Diagnostic Ultrasound — $349 Total

14 weeks – 27 weeks 6 days
($269 session + $80 radiologist interpretation)

Includes:

  • 20–30-minute diagnostic ultrasound
  • Up to 90 minute round trip travel from Whites Creek, TN
  • Growth measurements
  • Heartbeat tracing & heartbeat audio
  • Gender viewing (optional)
  • Cervical length measurement if indicated
  • ALL digital images and videos provided to the patient — just like our elective exams

➕ Transvaginal ultrasound (if required): +$38 added to total cost

Third Trimester Diagnostic Ultrasound — $379 Total

28 weeks – term
($299 session + $80 radiologist interpretation)

Includes:

  • 20–30-minute diagnostic ultrasound
  • Up to 90 minute round trip travel from Whites Creek, TN
  • Heartbeat tracing & heartbeat audio
  • 2D images, 3D stills, and 4D motion clips
  • Growth and fetal positioning
  • ALL digital images and videos provided to the patient — just like our elective exams

➕ Transvaginal ultrasound (if required): +$38 added to total cost

👶👶 Twins or Multiples

For pregnancies with more than one baby, diagnostic ultrasound pricing is calculated per fetus due to the additional imaging time, measurements, documentation, and radiology interpretation required for each baby.

The first baby is billed at the standard diagnostic exam rate. Each additional baby is billed at 75% of the diagnostic exam price, reflecting shared visit efficiencies while ensuring thorough, high-quality diagnostic care.
