Policies

Insurance:

We are a self-pay service and do not bill or accept insurance. Eligible HSA debit cards (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted. A paid receipt is available upon request for possible reimbursement.

Minimum Gestational Age:

You must be at least 6 weeks in your pregnancy to book an ultrasound. This is so we can see the baby. The baby is not visible by ultrasound prior to 6 weeks.

Safety:

According to the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM-the gold standard in ultrasound safety), it is not a safe or an ethical practice to listen to the fetal heartbeat with ultrasound in the first trimester (up to 14 weeks). We take these guidelines very seriously; therefore, we do not perform Spectral Doppler (listening to the fetal heartbeat) on a fetus less than 14 weeks gestational age. We put you and your baby’s safety and well-being first at all times. We will watch your baby’s heartbeat and obtain an inaudible M-mode tracing to determine the fetal heart rate.

Equipment:

Touching equipment is prohibited to ensure equipment does not get damaged. Clients will be held fully responsible for any damage of equipment caused by themselves, children, pets, or other viewers.

We reserve the right to end the appointment without a refund if we feel threatened or unsafe.

Travel Policy:

At home ultrasound prices include 90 minutes of round-trip travel. If you live beyond 90-minutes (based on distance), there will be an additional travel fee of $1 per additional minute of travel.

Travel & Arrival Times:

As a mobile service, travel conditions can occasionally be unpredictable. While we plan routes carefully, traffic, accidents, or construction may cause unexpected delays beyond our control. If this occurs, we will communicate with you promptly and keep you informed of our estimated arrival time. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation:

A minimum 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of appointment.
Cancellations less than 24 hours will forfeit their full appointment cost.

Rescheduling:

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24-hour notice. Thank you for your understanding.
