Medical At-Home Pregnancy Ultrasound

Medical ultrasounds are used to evaluate fetal development, anatomy, growth, and overall pregnancy health. These exams can be helpful for follow up evaluation, or when recommended by a healthcare provider. A referral or order from a midwife or OB is not required to schedule an exam.

All medical ultrasounds are performed by an experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with over 10 years of obstetric ultrasound experience, including extensive high-risk pregnancy and Maternal Fetal Medicine experience. Hospital grade ultrasound equipment is used, and exams follow standard medical imaging protocols. All images are securely reviewed by a board-certified radiologist.

A written radiology report is typically provided within three to five business days and can be shared with your healthcare provider if desired. STAT ultrasounds are available and are read by the radiologist within approximately 2 business hours during normal business hours.

Diagnostic ultrasounds focus on medical evaluation rather than keepsake imaging and may include measurements, fetal heart rate assessment, placental location, amniotic fluid evaluation, fetal position, and other structures relevant to the reason for the exam.

These services are self-pay and are designed to provide convenient, professional ultrasound imaging in the comfort of your home while maintaining the same standards of care used in clinical imaging environments.

For pregnancies with more than one baby, diagnostic ultrasound pricing is calculated per fetus due to the additional imaging time, measurements, documentation, and radiology interpretation required for each baby.
